Her Last Move by John Marrs Started: 20th October 2018 Finished: 25th October 2018 Published: 8th November 2018 Well I was late for work today and I am laying the blame squarely at John Marr’s door! I was close to the end and NOTHING was going to make me stop reading. Wow, what a novel. In the best style of John Marrs- brilliant writing, great characterisation and amazing plat lines. There aren’t enough superlatives. The only thing I would have changed is something that happened near the end but that may be just personal preference. Two detectives on the hunt for a serial killer - a particularly sadistic killer, who seems to be picking random people and killing each in a different way. What’s the connection? Who will be next? Can Becca and Joe find the killer before he kills again? The other question is, is he being helped and by whom?
