Here to Stay to Mark Edwards

 

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this book and I read it in a day- finally finishing at 2.44am! Definitely a book you can’t put down. My only warning is that you will be so disturbed and full of adrenaline when you finish that you won’t be able to sleep!

The book is about Elliot, who has managed to buy and decorate his perfect house on the appropriately named Cuckoo Lane. He loves the house but would like someone to share it. When the very beautiful Gemma turns up at his house for an open gardens day, and then saves his life, he realises life is too short to waste, and he asks her to marry him very quickly.

Elliot’s life seems wonderful until Gemma’s parents ask to move in for a couple of weeks with Gemma’s sister Chloe. Elliot is happy to agree until he realises he has invited a family of the worst type of Cuckoos into his wonderful home, and life will never be the same again!

If you liked The Magpies, you will LOVE this book. Mark Edwards at his very best.
