Right Time, Right Place by Ali McNamara

What an amazing book. Right up my street! I thought it was going to be a standard RomCom, however when it veered into the Paranormal, it elevated the story to a new level. I couldn’t put it down.

When Adam travels to Cambridge from London to prepare his grandfather’s house for sale, he expects a straightforward task. But his grandfather had one final request—Eve, a relative stranger, must handle the clearance and antique sales. What begins as an odd stipulation spirals into a chain of uncanny coincidences: Adam and Eve, both born on the rare date of February 29th, and a hidden connection between their grandparents. Inspired, Adam decides to transform his grandfather’s beloved book collection into a bookshop—right next door to Eve’s antique store in the quaint Clockmaker’s Court. The other shopkeepers welcome him warmly, but something about the close-knit community hints at secrets lurking beneath the surface…

This is one of those books that makes you stop and say, ‘Wow.’ The plot twists are brilliantly crafted, keeping you on your toes from start to finish. It’s practically begging for a sequel—and honestly, it has all the makings of a fantastic film adaptation. I absolutely adored it.
